Joanne Trattoria marks 15 years with a $65 dinner and a Gaga album sing-along
The Upper West Side restaurant run by Lady Gaga's parents hosts a live-music anniversary dinner on Oct. 3 and a 'Joanne' listening party on Oct. 17.
Joe and Cynthia Germanotta, the parents of Lady Gaga, own and run Joanne Trattoria, an Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side. They have two parties on the October calendar: a dinner for the restaurant’s 15th anniversary on Oct. 3, and a night on Oct. 17 honoring 10 years of their daughter’s album “Joanne.”
Neighborhood regulars and longtime Gaga fans each get their own evening to raise a glass.
Joanne Trattoria 15th anniversary dinner on Oct. 3
The anniversary evening begins Saturday, Oct. 3, at 6:30 p.m. Diners can choose a $65 prix-fixe dinner as Grace Romanello, Noah Landry and Shaila Murdock, three of the restaurant’s resident performers, sing live sets.
That lineup reflects how the place has grown over a decade and a half. What started as a family gathering spot now doubles as a live entertainment room and a launch pad for emerging artists. Book the anniversary dinner online ahead of time.
Lady Gaga ‘Joanne’ album sing-along on Oct. 17
Two weeks later, on Saturday, Oct. 17, the focus shifts to Gaga’s music. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the dining room becomes a listening party, billed as Joanne at Joanne, for the 10th anniversary of “Joanne,” one of the singer’s most personal records.
Fans will go back through the songs, stories and era behind the album, and Romanello will lead the room in a live sing-along. Glasses of Pinot Grigio will be on hand for toasts, and the venue has a surprise closing performance planned.
Tickets for the album night are on sale online.
