Q44 stabbing near the Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue hub
The attack unfolded just one block from the spot where Main Street crosses Roosevelt Avenue, ranked among the busiest intersections anywhere in New York City. That corner works as a major transfer point for Queens commuters: riders can board the 7 subway line there, and a Long Island Rail Road station serves the same intersection.
The stabbing took place on a Select Bus Service route, part of the MTA bus network that passes through the heart of downtown Flushing.
