Gunfire inside a Claremont apartment building on Saturday night left two people wounded, a 70-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man, according to the NYPD. Police said the man they believe fired the shots then went into one of the building’s units and barricaded himself there. He is now in police custody, and both people who were hit are in stable condition, police said.
