Brooklyn Bridge Park’s Harvest Festival comes to Pier 6 on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with live music, crafts, face painting, learning activities and a small pumpkin patch. That weekend, the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum in Brooklyn holds Farmhouse Family Day: Autumnal Wonders on Oct. 17 and 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for ages 4 to 12. In the Bronx, children ages 2 to 7 and their caregivers can drop in to Super Seedlings on Saturdays, Oct. 17 and 24, from 10 a.m. to noon. The gardening program meets at the park alliance’s garden and compost area in Van Cortlandt Park, near the corner of Mosholu Avenue and Broadway. Kids can make crafts, water plants, pick vegetables and dig in the soil.
