Getting to Barclays Center by subway

Barclays Center sits next to one of the largest transit hubs in New York. The 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q and R trains all stop at Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr, directly below the arena. After you leave the train, follow the signs in the station to Barclays Center.

Two other stations are within walking distance:

  • G train to Fulton St: the station is at Fulton Street and Lafayette Avenue. Exit, then walk two blocks south to the arena.
  • C train to Lafayette Av: exit and walk west toward Fort Greene Place, then turn left to reach the arena. This station is not accessible.

Check live subway status before you head out on a weeknight, since service changes can affect the lines that serve the arena. The arena also points riders to the MTA’s Trip Planner for specific directions.

LIRR and bus options

The Long Island Rail Road’s Atlantic Terminal station is across the street from Barclays Center. Once off the train, follow the signs to the arena. The stop is in LIRR Zone 1. Trains run to and from Jamaica Station every 8 minutes at peak hours and every 20 minutes off-peak, according to the arena.

The B25, B26, B37, B38, B41, B45, B52, B63, B65, B67 and B103 buses all stop near Barclays Center. Stop locations are on the Brooklyn bus schedules and the Brooklyn bus map. For fares and how to pay across subway, bus and rail, see our New York transport guide.

Which Barclays Center entrance to use

The Flatbush Entrance is temporarily closed, and the arena tells guests to use the Main Atrium Entrance or the Dean Entrance instead.

  • Main Atrium Entrance: corner of Flatbush Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. A dedicated lane offers expedited entry for CLEAR members.
  • Dean Entrance: southeast corner of the arena on Dean Street.
  • Atlantic Avenue entrances: the Event Level VIP Entrance, the Crown Entrance, the American Express Card Member Entrance and the Lyft Atlantic Entrance are all on Atlantic Avenue.

For a fuller walk-through of entrances, transit and the bag rules, see our Barclays Center guide to getting there, entrances and bag policy.

Barclays Center bag policy

Bags larger than 10 by 6 by 2 inches are not permitted, and neither are hard-sided bags of any size. Coolers of any size, including soft-sided coolers, are also on the prohibited list. A small soft bag within those measurements is the safest choice.

Barclays Center has a no re-entry policy. Once you go in, you cannot step out and come back.

Prohibited items at Barclays Center

The arena publishes a partial list of items that are not allowed inside, and management can prohibit other items. Among those most likely to matter at a concert:

  • Professional camera equipment, including detachable lenses, lenses longer than 3 inches, external flashes, monopods and tripods, plus audio and video recording devices
  • Cans, bottles, boxed liquids and metal, glass or other insulated containers, along with outside food or drinks and alcohol
  • Signs, flags and banners larger than 11 by 17 inches, or any sign on a pole
  • Selfie sticks, laser pointers, flashlights, lighters and noisemakers
  • Balloons and other inflatables, pointed-tip or large umbrellas, and flowers unless the tour production allows them
  • Pets other than service animals, skateboards, rollerblades and drones

Prescription medication in its original container is permitted if the guest shows identification that matches the container. Guests with medical dietary needs can contact Guest Services at 917-618-6111 or guestservices@barclayscenter.com before the event to arrange accommodations. The full list is on the Barclays Center prohibited items page.

What to know before you go

Doors open 60 minutes before the 8 p.m. start. The Flatbush Entrance is temporarily closed, so head to the Main Atrium Entrance or the Dean Entrance.

Shirts and shoes are required, and items the production prohibits can also be turned away at the door. Check the New York weather forecast before deciding what to carry, keeping in mind that large umbrellas are not allowed inside.

Tickets for both nights are listed as on sale on the arena’s event page, which also shows premium seating options.
